Hmm… difficult question. I also always pictured it on the inside. The question resolves at the level of intention/purpose, I think. Do we want it more easily visible to others or to ourselves?

I’ve been looking into getting a tattoo and several sources have told me that tattoos on your feet tend to fade quicker, and therefore can need more touch-ups, because of the rubbing from shoes.  Just thought I’d submit that information for your consideration in the process!  I miss you guys!

Julia, thanks much for your candor. Personally, I like that a certain symbolism is attached with foot tattoos and feel like that location would be in step (ha, excuse the pun. or don’t.) with our quotation. I love your tattoo idea. Perhaps we could all go together?
